GBBD: Acacia pravissima

I don't have much flowering in Jurassic Park (for obvious reasons) but I was persuaded to part with a little money a few years ago for a small Acacia pravissima specimen. This year I have been rewarded with some gorgeous little flowers:

There have been some enormous bees around recently, but they don't seem to have located the flowers yet. A pity, as I gather they go pretty crazy for acacia nectar.

We've had the enormous bees here in Wandsworth too. Are they queens? One nearly hit me in the face the other day - it was so big I felt like directing it to Battersea Heliport.
