Hi. Remember me? I'm that mad one who used to talk about "leaf-babies" and plants with pet names before I ran off to the local FE college and abandoned you all for the first half term of my new career. I've managed to remain employed as a FE teacher/lecturer in biology for longer than I lasted as a gardener, so I think this is A Good Thing.
I am, however, appalled at the number of science students who think that animals need to photosynthesise. If I could photosynthesise than it wouldn't be half as awful working through lunchtime marking homeworks!

Plenty to write about, but I'm already halfway through margarita 1 of n, where n is yet to be defined, but is probably lower than 50.
And as Hubster said on his most recent comment to me, we do have an allotment to write about. Maybe I should set up a new blog for that and call it "We're Going To Need A Bigger Plot"...
