The buds on my Camellia x williamsii "Donation" have finally opened, and I have a good four flowers in the process of opening up, with hopefully more to come. These are buds that were on the camellia (called Karma, ho ho) when I bought it at the end of January. I've been absolutely convinced that it wasn't going to flower, especially when I watched a show on UKTV Gardens a few weeks ago where they interviewed the RHS expert on camellias, and he said "The question I'm asked most often is 'Why isn't my camellia flowering?'".
But it is, and they're so pretty. Photos soon.
